The snow melts and the temperatures rise.
Shedding layers, becoming free.
The seasons change.
Drop out and tune in.
Show me the road to freedom.
Walking barefoot, mud between my toes.
Becoming free.

2) Katmai

Katmai made the sky turn to ash.
Isolated eruption,
The valley of 10,000 smokes.
100 miles away, they observed blackened skies.
A town in total darkness.
Communication severed.
Drifts of volcanic ash lasting for months.
Covering nearby towns.
People displaced.
